Olympic Torch Relay Coming to the Sunshine Coast!
February 4th The Olympic Torch will pass through Roberts Creek, on it's journey through Sunshine Coast communities on its way to Whistler and the Opening Ceremonies in Vancouver on February 12, 2010. A Celebration Event with the Shíshálh First Nation is planned in nearby Sechelt on February 4th.

 For an alternative experience, please notify us regarding our 2 bedroom, 'SAND & SEA' cottage, delightfully decorated in colours of Sky Blue, beach sand and whitecap waves. Fully furnished and equipped to just move in! Cozy wood burning Fireplace in the Living Room, with couches, TV and DVD. Bedrooms have Queen beds. Full Bathroom. Kitchen has electrical stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, with washer and dryer downstairs. Enjoy the peace and privacy of this secluded spot.

First sailing is from Langdale, Sunshine Coast at 6:20AM and returning from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver at 7:20 AM, with the latest sailing from Horseshoe Bay scheduled for 11:00PM, during the Olympics only, otherwise 9:15PM. Crossing take 40 minutes. Dine in style, or sit back, relax and enjoy the 40 minute panoramic scenic view of snow covered mountains, blue sea and sky, and the green grass and evergreens of British Columbia's supernatural southern coastal region. VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIR TERMINAL TO DISCOVERY PLACE RETREAT ON THE SUNSHINE COAST: Board the newly completed RAV LINE (Skytrain) at the Airport and travel to Granville Station in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Transfer to the BC Transit Bus #257 (express - 30 minutes) or Bus #250 (local, scenic, 50 minutes) through West Vancouver City to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal (2 Zone fare required: Adults - $3.75, Seniors $2.50, Students $1.75 with proper identification, kids under 5 - free).
Purchase your return ferry ticket ($12) to Langdale, Sunshine Coast. When you arrive at Langdale, board the bus ($2.75), and ask the driver to let you off at the Roberts Creek Provincial Camping Park bus stop. You are an easy 4 minutes walk to your paradise and relaxation. Be sure we know when you will be arriving. Reservation Policies – 2010 Winter Olympics
Feb. 1 – Mar. 31, 2010
SPECIAL EVENT DEPOSIT POLICY
A deposit of 50% of room nights or a deposit of one night’s room rate (whichever is greater) is processed at the time of reservation to guarantee booking. The balance is due no later than October 1, 2009 and will be charged to your credit card at that time.
Reservations made October 1, 2009 onwards for stays falling between Feb.1, 2010 – Mar. 31, 2010 (full payment is due at time of reservation). Reservations are guaranteed only upon receipt of deposit. We will honor your reservation by not offering your dates/room to anyone else.
SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Our cancellation policy – deadline for stays between Feb. 1, 2010 and Mar. 31, 2010 is Sept. 30, 2009. If you cancel your reservation after September 30, 2009, there will be no refund. A full refund of the deposit, less a $50.00 cancellation administration fee – will be returned when reservations are cancelled no later than Sept. 30, 2009. Reservations made after Sept. 30, 2009 for stays falling between Feb.1, 2010 – Mar. 31, 2010 are committed at time of reservation and there will be no refund or cancellation of reservation.
**Please note: Sept. 30, 2009 deadline also applies to any reduction in the number of nights you have committed to stay or moving reservation dates to a later date. "No Shows" and unscheduled early departures are subject to full payment for all nights reserved.
Since our BC Sunshine Coast Accommodation must be more restrictive than hotels, we recommend you consider Travelers’ Insurance to protect your vacation.
CHECK-IN – CHECK-OUT:
Check-In is from 3:00 pm onwards only; please do not arrive early as we are preparing your suite for your arrival. If you require an earlier check-in, contact us in advance: toll free in North America at 1-800-975-1556 (Alternative 1-604-885-0405) to make arrangements. Check-Out is 11:00 am. We reserve the right to charge a $25.00 per half hour charge for late check-out.
